Today, I recognize Theodore Roosevelts 149th birthday.
Last night, I started to write another section of the novel, called "Psychiatric." I am debating with myself how dark to go, how much to express, where to stop before I get too dark.
One of the hard parts about writing a novel that is...a) a self-portrait, b) forward looking, and c) mostly comedic: figuring out how to balance the optimism with the realism; how to acknowledge the dark aspects of life while embracing the positive. It will be a challege.
Tonight, a Halloween Party...with the theme Cthulu 2008: Why Vote for the Lesser Evil! I am going low key, as the campaign strategist, in the mold of Robert Deniro's Conny Breen in "Wag the Dog."
Should be fun.

Hi Ford, I hope you don't think I am cyberstalking you! LOL! But I am from Albany and I see you at the Ginger Man sometimes and I always have been too shy to approach. I'd like your permission to approach and buy you a drink next time I see you. I loved your views on gays when you ran for office. Marty
If you see me at the Ginger Man, feel free to drop by and say hi. This Thursday I will be with there, but with a nice young lady, but feel free to say hi and we can raincheck the drink. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your comments on the election. For a straight Republican in the era of conservative backlack, I felt I needed to fight the fight.
I think I have an e-mail address identified on my profile. Feel free to drop a line directly.
